Knowing, acknowledging and feeling deep inside that you are good enough and that you are not to be compared with anyone else. This is the essence of self-confidence.

How do you work towards feeling more and more that powerfully connected with yourself?

The 4 practices described in the video are simple, don't require much time and deliver an increased sense of self-confidence. Try them and let me know your experience.
  1. THREE GOOD THINGS
Every day write down 3 things you are satisfied about for that day: things you did, you achieved or contributed to. Also, aspects of your personality and nature you realized that day that are really yours.
If you can focus more and more on things that satisfy a desire and/or that trigger pleasure, you are going to tap even deeper into yourself and your source of empowerment.
This practice brings you daily to reflect on your talents and all that is good, worthy and beautiful in yourself. This is a way you connect with the inner truth that you are good enough and worth feeling confident.
  1. ONE COMPLIMENT A DAY
Every day pay a compliment to someone. The best compliments are based on something factual (‘that thing you did shows creativity’) more than just your personal opinion (‘you are so nice’).
When you pay a compliment to someone you step into your power, you are the one giving feedback, expressing an opinion about someone else's work or performance. This is the reason why this simple practice is powerful in connecting you with your natural self-confidence.
  1. BODY LANGUAGE
The way we carry ourselves around, our posture, says a lot about the way we feel. There are some poses that can help you feel more confident:
- The wonder woman power pose with your hands on your side is the most famous. Maybe not for all occasion, but it works!
- Any pose where your hands and arms go up in the air is known to promote empowerment and good humor;
- Standing tall with your spine stretched and your shoulder straighten up helps you center and feel your inner power;
- Holding eye contact when you talk to someone requires a strong sense of self.
Play with this knowledge, see what you can apply and notice what is unthinkable for you. Make it your journey towards carrying yourself around with more confidence every day.

  1. FIND YOUR STRONG SUITE
Go and look for those situations, places, people, that already activate naturally your self-confidence. Maybe people from your family, friends, places like your home.
Discover and acknowledge that you already have self-confidence and explore what makes these contexts where you already feel confident, so safe and secure for you. This is going to help you know yourself better and discovering how you can expand this sense of self-confidence and inner power to other areas of your life.

Go and try these practices to see your self-confidence grow.
