Streets are deserted, the silence dominates even during the day. We find ourselves having extra time because working from home means saving travel time and working without the distractions of the workplace happening around.
Even for those of us still going to an office, the atmosphere is quiet, silent and we spend more time alone with our thoughts.
What an opportunity for a deep dive. How powerful a time to go inside and get clear for yourself about what you really want, how satisfied are you with your current situation and what is your next step.
But not only this, we have the opportunity to learn how we can embrace our power more impactfully. The opportunity is there for us to understand of how to influence our own functioning in the world and gain a different level of control over ourselves.
I’m talking about freedom of choice in how you react to triggers, awareness about what triggers you and why. I’m also referring to the discovering of a dimension in yourself that is higher, purpose-driven. The birthplace of creativity, innovation, and change.
What is there more important than knowing why you live the way you do?
What is more relevant to your efforts than being centered, grounded and in control of the universe living inside of yourself, your inner world?

'Who are we? We are the life force power of the universe'.
As a navigate this new lifestyle that I didn't choose, I know the only sensible thing to do is to find a way to make this work for me, learn something, make the best of an improbable situation.
You could say that life gave us lemons in the form of a worldwide pandemic, shall we see how we can make lemonades?
I found inspiration in this talk about a neuroscientist having a stroke and reacting as follow:
'I had a stroke ... how cool!'
She found Nirvana while touching rock bottom and fearing for her life.
'We have the power to choose, moment by moment, who and how we want to be in the world.'
It was not an easy recovery and still, her experience, as she recalls it, is one of awakening, becoming aware of her inner power and feeling grateful for the transformative experience she had.
'I believe that the more time we spend choosing to run the deep inner peace circuitry of our right hemisphere, the more peace we will project into the world and the more peaceful our planet will be.'
I have been homeschooling my children for a week now and the admiration for what teachers do every day has risen to the top.
However, I realized already at the end of last week that the ball is in my court now and it will stay there for a while. I don't believe, in fact, that the world will be safe enough to send our children back to school for some time.
I then decided to take the situation in my own hands, my first decision was that I'm not going to compromise the relationship with my children to make sure they do all their homework. I choose to care more for my children to be happy than for them to be up to speed with the school program.
The second consideration was that they do need something to do all day every day, and I really don't want to turn the tablet/smartphone/computer into a virtual nanny: what am I going to do?
I realized then that some homework from school could be a lifesaver.
I'm still finding my way in this new situation, however, I do look for inspiration on how to make this unique experience a positive one for me and the one around me. This ted talk, that I watched countless time, is one of my and everybody's favorite.
The best part, in my humble opinion, is the one about the little girl drawing a picture of God. I would love for my girls to have that attitude towards life.
Hopefully, this powerful message will impact you as well and make this particular time more fruitful for you.

You cannot meditate if you don't have a body, I would say that you meditate often right to get back in contact with your body and all the sensations and emotions that are active in your body.
The breathing exercises that I share here are aimed at cleansing.
The movement of energy that breathing brings along is promoting cleansing.
Cleansing, in this case, means especially purification of your energy, relaxation, letting go of all sorts of things that don't serve you anymore.
I read in a book a really simple definition of meditation:
'meditation is simply bringing attention'.
The breathing exercises that I share here help you do exactly that, bring attention. Breathing, in its simplicity, offer the possibility to bring attention in many different ways to many different things.

Meditation can be practiced for years and still evolve, develop and transform in something new.
A really powerful aspect in meditation is breathing.
So powerful is breathing that it can be on its own a form of meditation.
What I want to share here are few simple techniques that in their simplicity can work really deep in cleansing our energy, realizing deep muscular tension and help up plug into our deepest feelings.
It is a bit too complicated to write down the exercises, far too big a risk that the explanation is not clear, so I'll just show you.

Meditation has made a huge impact in my life in the last 8 years and I feel honored to be able to share with you how you can start meditating, or how you can add to your current practice new ways to come in deep contact with yourself.
Today I want to share how listening to music as you sit in silence is a wonderful form of meditation.
- It doesn't require experience;
- Music can help to keep the attention on yourself and what happens inside of you as you listen: if you pay attention to the music you lose yourself less easily in your thoughts;
The music massages your energy and helps to relax as you sink deeper in yourself;
I would say to you: try and discover how it is for you.
You can sit in a comfortable position, your back is straight and relaxed at the same time, your eyes are closed, your knees make a 90 degrees angle (use if necessary something under your feet). Your chin is slightly forward towards your chest, just enough to stretch your spine near your skull.
Then just put on some music.
