I have written so much about the inner critic, maybe too much. I like when I find other people explaining it better than I do. In this specific video there is also a beautiful and simple way you can challenge your inner critic. Write a letter to your teacher/boss/self dated one year from now, where you explain how you achieved this extraordinary goal that you are now starting to work at. Extra instruction is to fall desperately in love with the person you are describing in the letter. When you do that, you become that person who described in the letter, the relationship between you and the teacher/boss is transformed. The best way to learn is to make mistakes (and scream 'how fascinating!') 'We don't give children a name as an expectation to live up to, we give children a name as a possibility to live into.' There is a world of possibility a vision that can be created by exploring the unknown, learning something new, meeting someone new, reading a different kind of book, listening to a different kind of music etc. There is a key to the kingdom of possibility: - It is all invented; - Standing in possibility; - Don't take yourself so seriously' If you read this and watch the video: What is the reaction you notice in yourself? Do you have questions about it? Does it trigger personal reflections? I would love to hear what your answers to these questions are. If you feel like, get in touch with me: [email protected]
