Do you value your body more than your mind? Do you do for your mind as much as you do for your body?

For instance: Do you maintain good physical health by training your body to be fit, cycle instead of using the car, practice dental hygiene on a daily basis etc.?

What do you do to take care of your mind, to maintain mental health?

Studies revealed that mental health is heavily underestimated and neglected despite the enormous negative impact this has on our life.

Do you want to become emotionally fit and learning how to take care of your emotional injuries?

The first step is to recognize them. Pay attention to emotional pain.
Because when emotional pain is ignored it grows and can impact our life in dramatic ways.

There are three major emotional wounds that occur to us regularly:

FAILURE
Are you aware of your emotional reaction to failure? Do you try again or do you give up disappointed with yourself?
How would your experience change if your response to failure would be from a perspective of kindness and acceptance of yourself?

REJECTION
What do you tell yourself when you experience rejection? How do you feel in response to such thoughts?
Would you like to try and take care of yourself as a good, loving friend would do when you feel rejected ?

LONELINESS
How do you look at the world when you are lonely? How does it impact your choices in life?
Which action would you take if you were not feeling lonely?

The second important point is taking action to address the emotional pain and stop the bleeding. The questions underlined are an invitation in that direction.

Third is proactively engage in activities that help build emotional resilience.

Taking action when you are lonely;
Changing your response to failure;
Protecting your self-esteem.
